Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bald Martin (ranked 3598 p4p, 422 weight class) and Lou Valentine (ranked 454 p4p, 62 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Martin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I�m Bald And I Know It . Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin loads up on a big right hand but Valentine slips the punch.
Martin misses with a lunging right hand
and Valentine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. Valentine does a little dance to reset his feet.
Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martin's corner calls for a 1-2. Martin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Martin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Valentine.
Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valentine manages to avoid it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Valentine has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valentine moves away.
Valentine feints and then cracks Martin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martin down.

Martin feints a jab promting Valentine to slip. Martin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Valentine slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Martin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Martin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Valentine on the side of the head.
Valentine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.

A punch lands to the side of Martin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Valentine throws a push kick but Martin slaps the foot to one side.

Valentine tries a quick counter leg kick but Martin is wise to it.
Martin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A punch lands to the side of Valentine 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Martin throws a sloppy head kick and Valentine moves out of range easily.
A nice side step and Valentine releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Valentine blocks a jab.

Valentine is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Valentine tries to pull guard but Martin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Valentine tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Valentine is trying to trip Martin. He has hold of a leg but Martin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Valentine persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Valentine has gone for a leg lock! Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Valentine's guard.

Valentine wants to sweep but no luck.
