Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Dredd.
Bender is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dredd looks up at the clock and then as Bender takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dredd smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Dredd misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dredd with the ground and pound but Bender regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Dredd is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bender wants to get back to his feet.

Dredd tries to close the distance and clinch but Bender swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bender takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Dredd to pass into mount.
Dredd srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
What can Dredd do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Bender counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Bender makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Bender has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

John Bender comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bender has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
