Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ostermalm tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith misses with a double jab.
Smith misses with an uppercut.
Smith dodges the punch combination from Ostermalm.
Ostermalm dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Ostermalm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Ostermalm rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ostermalm gets control of Smith's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ostermalm will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ostermalm is pulling down on Smith's head. It's preventing any offense from Smith, at least for the moment.
Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Smith throws a big right hand that misses.
Smith throws a strike but Ostermalm rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ostermalm's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Ostermalm stops Smith from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ostermalm slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ostermalm on the ground.
Ostermalm has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ostermalm yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ostermalm.
