Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sinun Blacktoe!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Blacktoe darts in and clinches Creed up against the cage.
Creed breaks from the clinch.
Creed definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Creed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blacktoe.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blacktoe drops his hands momentarily and Creed takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Creed slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Sinun Blacktoe has been cut.
Blacktoe closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Blacktoe leaves his chin hanging out and Creed seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Blacktoe crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Apollo Creed!
