The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier fails with the takedown.
Cormier shoots in but Jufee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cormier fails to land the takedown.
Jufee half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jonathan Jufee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Cormier.
Cormier shoots in looking for a takedown but Jufee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cormier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cormier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jufee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cormier tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jufee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cormier somewhat.

Cormier lands a big shot to the head and Jufee winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
