Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Tamburello (ranked 1713 p4p, 1292 weight class) and Chris Tosanesti (ranked 228 p4p, 181 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chris Tosanesti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Tosanesti motions for Tamburello to come forward. Tosanesti throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Tosanesti tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tamburello manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've been informed that Tosanesti has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Tosanesti tries to clinch but Tamburello is having none of it.

Tosanesti cracks Tamburello with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tamburello looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tosanesti finish him?

and Tosanesti counters with a big right hand! Oh Tamburello is in trouble here! Tosanesti follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After winning the bout, Chris Tosanesti thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
