Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blade Breed (ranked 4460 p4p, 4480 weight class) and Mike Orpheus (ranked 0 p4p, 517 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breed changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Breed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Breed swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Breed lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Mike Orpheus has been cut.
Breed misses with a straight left.

and Breed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Breed jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Breed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Orpheus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

It seemed like Orpheus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

As Breed backs off Orpheus throws a huge counter combo but Breed manages to avoid it all.

Breed clobbers Orpheus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Orpheus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Breed misses with a hook.
Breed lunges at Orpheus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Orpheus's hand.
Breed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Orpheus was well out of range. Poor timing from Breed.
Breed with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Orpheus to score with a decent uppercut.
Breed misses with an uppercut. Orpheus saw that one coming.
Breed throws the left hand but Orpheus avoids the punch easily.

Breed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Breed ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Breed drops Orpheus with a big left hand and mounts him. Orpheus is in big trouble!

Mike Orpheus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Orpheus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
