And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Indigo Pleateu!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pleateu with a body punch. A glancing blow.
McCheeks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pleateu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McCheeks throws a sloppy head kick
and Pleateu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McCheeks throws a leg kick
letting Pleateu counter with a right hand.
It looks like Clappe McCheeks has been cut.
Pleateu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McCheeks shoots and misses
and Pleateu scores with a counter punch that sends McCheeks to the canvas! Pleateu smells blood - he's punishing McCheeks with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! McCheeks has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
