The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Leyton Jr lands with a hook. Costa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Costa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Leyton Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Costa scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Costa lands with a punch from half guard.
Costa wants to free his trapped foot but Leyton Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Costa is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Costa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Costa lands a nice short elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still in half guard, Costa seems content to control.
Leyton Jr has hold of Costa's hands but Costa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Costa lands a big elbow - Leyton Jr is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Costa!
