Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie DeLuna (ranked 3662 p4p, 2881 weight class) and Jan Sokol (ranked 216 p4p, 177 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frankie DeLuna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jan Sokol!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeLuna scores with a nice right hand.
Sokol is rocked!
Sokol shoots in but no luck this time.
Sokol is still on wobbly legs! Can DeLuna finish him?
DeLuna stuffs the takedown attempt from Sokol. Sokol gets slowly back to his feet.
Sokol seems to have recovered his senses.
Sokol shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DeLuna's guard.
Sokol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sokol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeLuna swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sokol postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
DeLuna is looking to stand up but Sokol isn't so interested in that idea.
DeLuna trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Sokol drops back looking for a leg! DeLuna is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DeLuna manages to kick Sokol off! Sokol jumps back into DeLuna's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sokol won't allow DeLuna to get back to his feet.
Sokol missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
DeLuna is looking to stand up but Sokol isn't so interested in that idea.

Sokol has gone for a leg lock! DeLuna slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sokol's guard.
DeLuna wanted to stand there but Sokol had control of the position.
DeLuna really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sokol looking for a sweep. Not yet Sokol, not yet.
DeLuna trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sokol's guard.
Sokol seems keen to control DeLuna's posture.
Sokol is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
DeLuna is looking to stand up but Sokol won't let him.
Sokol wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
DeLuna throws a right and a left that Sokol avoids nicely.
Sokol fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
DeLuna half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
DeLuna has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Alpha Brasil in the buildup to the fight.
Frankie DeLuna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Sokol.
Sokol scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sokol shoots in but no luck this time.
DeLuna looks to land a combination but Sokol avoids it well.
DeLuna is looking to land body kicks.
DeLuna misses with a jab, cross combination.
DeLuna's corner calls for a 1-2. DeLuna obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sokol dodges the punch combination from DeLuna.
Sokol blocks a head kick by DeLuna.
Sokol throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sokol looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sokol wants to pass the guard but DeLuna is keeping the position.

DeLuna is looking to stand up but Sokol isn't so interested in that idea.
DeLuna keeping moving, preventing Sokol from controlling successfully.
Sokol lands a couple of digs.
Sokol stops DeLuna from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sokol shoots in and gets a takedown into DeLuna's guard.
Sokol won't allow DeLuna to get back to his feet.
DeLuna keeping moving, preventing Sokol from controlling successfully.
Sokol slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sokol trying to control the position from guard on top but DeLuna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sokol postures up in DeLuna's guard and throws a big left but DeLuna blocks it.
DeLuna is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Sokol swings away with an uppercut that misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie DeLuna dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Oooooh!!! DeLuna has knocked Sokol down with a huge combo! DeLuna steps away and waves a wobbly Sokol back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
DeLuna closes the distance looking for a takedown. Sokol stuffs it but DeLuna still has hold of him. DeLuna picks Sokol up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. DeLuna slams Sokol to the floor and that's really hurt Sokol - he doesn't know where he is! DeLuna throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frankie DeLuna!
