Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kosami Akagawa (ranked 3266 p4p, 4527 weight class) and Heikki John Papadopoulos (ranked 437 p4p, 550 weight class). Heikki John Papadopoulos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Kosami Akagawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Heikki John Papadopoulos! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akagawa defending well as Papadopoulos loads up on a big left hand. Akagawa thinks about countering with a head kick. Papadopoulos just misses with a punch to the body.
Papadopoulos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Papadopoulos closes the distance and clinches. Papadopoulos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Akagawa looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Papadopoulos puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Akagawa is staying active underneath Papadopoulos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Akagawa trying to hold on to Papadopoulos's head to control him but Papadopoulos postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Papadopoulos trying to mount his opponent but Akagawa defends it. Akagawa trying to hold on to Papadopoulos's head to control him but Papadopoulos postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Papadopoulos trying to pass the guard but Akagawa defending well. Akagawa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Papadopoulos prevents Akagawa from improving his position. Papadopoulos wants to free his trapped foot but Akagawa is holding on for dear life with his legs. Akagawa wants to improve his position but Papadopoulos is controlling well.
Akagawa is working hard here to advance position. Papadopoulos is trying to control the action in half guard but Akagawa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Akagawa wants to control but Papadopoulos is keeping busy.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Papadopoulos misses with a left hand and Akagawa counters with a slapping leg kick. Papadopoulos throws a poor cross that misses
and Akagawa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Papadopoulos tries to keep at a distance but Akagawa has taken the fight into the clinch. Akagawa lands a takedown into guard.
