Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Finn (ranked 6441 p4p, 5244 weight class) and Tommaso Cappone (ranked 675 p4p, 597 weight class). Tommaso Cappone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommaso Cappone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cappone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Finn lands a jab to Cappone's midsection.
Finn with the inside leg kick.
Finn scores with a shot to the body.
Finn lands a high kick!
Finn connects with a nice looking jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Finn finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Cappone walks into a left hand.

Finn is looking to wear down Cappone with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Finn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cappone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A short body shot lands from Finn as the two fighters clinch.
Cappone jumps into guard, dragging Finn to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Finn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cappone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cappone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Finn defends it easily.

Finn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cappone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Finn is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Finn throws a big right hand that misses.

Finn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cappone.
Tommaso Cappone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cappone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Finn throws a series of strikes that have Cappone backpedaling.
Cappone takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Finn sizes up Cappone with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A decent looking cross lands there for Finn.
Finn feints and then cracks Cappone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cappone down.

Nice uppercut lands for Finn. That snapped Cappone's head back.
A left and a right from Finn both land. Nice combination.

Cappone on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Finn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cappone doesn't seem bothered though.

Finn forces Cappone back against the cage and clinches.

Finn pushes Cappone back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Finn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cappone backwards.

Finn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cappone's head backwards.
Finn connects with a body shot that sends Cappone's belly button to the back.

Finn stalks Cappone and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cappone's face. Cappone staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Tommaso Cappone has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cappone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Finn scores with a jab.
Finn lands a slapping body shot.
Finn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cappone at a distance.
Left hook, right uppercut from Finn.
Cappone is rocked!
Finn lands a big head kick that sends Cappone tumbling to the mat! Finn takes a step backwards and waves Cappone back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cappone is still on wobbly legs! Can Finn finish him?
Cappone walks straight into a right hand from Finn - that's dropped him! Finn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cappone from any more punishment! Cappone complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
