Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Cooper (ranked 6484 p4p, 4155 weight class) and Roman Reyes (ranked 629 p4p, 486 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper wants to clinch up but Reyes keeps it at a distance.
Cooper gets a clinch.
Reyes is pressed up against the cage. Cooper has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Reyes down to the mat. Reyes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reyes lands a lovely overhand right.
Reyes throws a shot to the body.
Cooper tries to clinch up
and Reyes counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooper is looking to clinch but Reyes is avoiding it.
Reyes's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Reyes duly obliges.
Cooper wants to clinch but Reyes slips to the side
letting Reyes counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper closes the distance but Reyes moves to the side
and Reyes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Reyes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Reyes thuds a left hand into Cooper's body.
Cooper is looking to clinch.
Cooper moves to clinch but Reyes breaks away
and Reyes counters with a stiff right hand.
Cooper buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cooper wants to clinch
and Reyes counters with a nice body shot.
Roman Reyes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cooper takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cooper with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reyes to score with a decent uppercut.
Reyes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cooper eats them both and turns towards Reyes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cooper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Reyes unleashes a big counter combination but Cooper bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Cooper takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cooper is rocked!

After the fight, Roman Reyes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
