Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galvao will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Galvao stuffs the takedown attempt from Matchmann. Matchmann gets slowly back to his feet.
Martin Matchmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matchmann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Galvao.
Matchmann takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Matchmann throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Galvao thuds his shin into the meat of Matchmann's side.
Matchmann is looking to score with low kicks.

Matchmann throws a solid leg kick but Galvao takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Matchmann.
Matchmann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Galvao tries to clinch up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Galvao breaks from the clinch.
Galvao showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matchmann.
Matchmann misses with a kick to the body.
Matchmann throws a lazy body kick
and Galvao makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Matchmann really felt that one!
Matchmann is breathing heavily.
Galvao scores with a kick to the midsection.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Galvao moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Matchmann swats away the attempt to clinch by Galvao.
Galvao takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Galvao tries to clinch but Matchmann is having none of it.

Matchmann stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Galvao.
Matchmann has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Galvao.
Matchmann misses with the body kick
and Galvao finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Galvao looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Galvao chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Matchmann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Galvao as he avoids it easily.
Matchmann throws a leg kick that is checked
and Galvao makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Matchmann really felt that one!

Galvao lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Matchmann at a distance.
Galvao scores with a sloppy right hand. Matchmann should have avoided that one.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Matchmann.
Matchmann lands a decent elbow from side control.
Galvao wants to get back to his feet.
Matchmann landing strikes.
Matchmann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Galvao is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Matchmann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Galvao keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Galvao prevents Matchmann from improving position.
Matchmann is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Galvao looks calm but he's in trouble here. Matchmann gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Galvao is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Matchmann lets go of the hold and Galvao can pop his arm back in it's socket.
