Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hudson Clarkson (ranked 992 p4p, 1932 weight class) and Abdul Kaloev (ranked 158 p4p, 282 weight class). Hudson Clarkson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hudson Clarkson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Kaloev! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, John Mangel and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarkson looking to score a takedown here. Kaloev is defending well but Clarkson drives through and ends up in Kaloev's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kaloev is on top in guard.
Kaloev passes Clarkson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Clarkson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Clarkson is trying to maintain the position but Kaloev is very close to passing his half guard. Clarkson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Canucks Combat Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Kaloev wants to free his trapped foot but Clarkson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Clarkson tries to get to full guard but Kaloev has control of the leg. Kaloev trying to mount his opponent but Clarkson defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarkson wants to control but Kaloev is keeping busy.
Kaloev trying to pass the guard but Clarkson defending well. Clarkson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Clarkson. Kaloev working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Clarkson's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarkson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kaloev defends it easily. Kaloev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Clarkson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaloev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaloev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kaloev looking to improve position, pressing down on Clarkson's thigh with his hand. Clarkson seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Kaloev paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Kaloev's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Clarkson picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
