Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a double jab.
Sanchez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A big left from Williams misses.
Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sanchez lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

A nice leg kick from Sanchez, right into the meat of the thigh.
Williams misses the shot to the body.
Williams throws out a loose jab but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Williams misses with a double jab.
Sanchez was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams tries to pull guard but Sanchez forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Williams has his foot on Sanchez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanchez works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sanchez is working Williams over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Williams is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sanchez frees his head nicely. Oh but Williams has switched to an armbar! Sanchez is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
