Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Watkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes to the cage accompanied by i gotta feeling. Corwin Anstey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Corey Watkins's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Watkins! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Watkins as Anstey shoots in. Anstey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Watkins's waist but Watkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anstey off to one side. Anstey scores a takedown into full mount! Anstey goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Watkins turns into him and now he's in Anstey's guard.
Anstey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Watkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Watkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Watkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anstey swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anstey had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Watkins is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anstey Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Watkins's back instead. Anstey is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Watkins is defending well though. Anstey let's go of the attempt for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watkins is having to fend off submission attempts from Anstey, who is looking to sink in the choke. Anstey doesn't have the hooks in though and Watkins manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Anstey is looking for a triangle but Watkins pushes his legs off easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anstey gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Watkins. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Watkins with a lazy takedown attempt and Anstey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Watkins trying to control the position.

Anstey drives through with a takedown into guard. Watkins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Anstey drops back, looking for a kneebar! Watkins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Watkins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Watkins! Anstey manages to get back to half guard. Anstey tries to get to full guard but Watkins has control of the leg. Anstey looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Anstey looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Watkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anstey keeps working. Anstey looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Anstey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anstey lands in his opponent's guard. Anstey drops back, looking for a kneebar! Watkins looks panicked! Watkins is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Anstey will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Anstey manages to work his way to half guard, despite Watkins's best efforts. Anstey looking for submissions off his back.

Watkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Anstey has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Watkins is looking to defend but Anstey has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Watkins! Anstey pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Watkins taps out and this one is all over!
