Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johan Costa (ranked 3722 p4p, 4431 weight class) and Daniel Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johan Costa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Frost! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frost as he jumps to the side. Frost scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A nice leg kick lands there from Frost. Costa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Frost is trying to control but can't.
Frost should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Costa throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Frost to regain full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Costa with a flurry of punches that miss. Costa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Costa trying to move into half guard but instead Frost has managed to sweep!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frost preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost content to stall in guard here. Frost being controlled here momentarily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Costa is on top in guard.
Costa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Frost trying to control the position.

Costa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Costa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Costa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Frost keeping full guard, as Costa tries to pass. Costa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Frost is adopting a defensive guard. Costa postures up and lands a big shot to Frost's brow.
It looks like Daniel Frost has been cut. Costa cracks Frost with a solid left hand. Costa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Costa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Costa connects with a couple of short punches.
The cut above Daniel Frost's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Costa's guard.
Frost looks winded! Costa looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Frost stopping the sweep attempt from Costa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Costa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Costa is on top in guard.

Daniel Frost's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Daniel Frost's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
