Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deontay Wilder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Woolsworth Mcfly!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfly motions for Wilder to come forward. Mcfly throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wilder connects with a body shot that sends Mcfly's belly button to the back.
Nice straight punches there by Wilder. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wilder.
Wilder swinging wildly here.
Mcfly tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wilder throws a body shot but no joy.
Mcfly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilder manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wilder gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mcfly to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilder is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mcfly advances position into side control!
Mcfly is working to tighten his grip on Wilder's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wilder has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mcfly is really squeezing tight and eventually Wilder passes out! Mcfly breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Woolsworth Mcfly!
