The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ortiz Jr.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ortiz Jr, as that shot connected.
Ortiz Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Decom was well out of range. Poor timing from Ortiz Jr.
Decom lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Decom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ortiz Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Decom tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortiz Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ortiz Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ortiz Jr misses with a looping left.
Decom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ortiz Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Decom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ortiz Jr.
A counter left hand to the body from Ortiz Jr misses its target.
Decom throws a one two combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Decom lands with a nice combination. Ortiz Jr backs away looking to recover.

Ortiz Jr throws a hook but Decom blocks it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Ortiz Jr connects with a combination that backs up Decom into the cage. Ortiz Jr lands a flurry of punches that gets past Decom's guard. Decom is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Ortiz Jr bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
