Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arlo Rochester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Emre Hussain!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain looks to land a right hand but Rochester moved out of range.
Rochester misses with a hook. Hussain ducked under it nicely.
Rochester throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hussain on the side of the head.

It looks like Emre Hussain has been cut.
Hussain moves in looking to clinch but Rochester pushes him off.
Rochester tests Hussain's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hussain throws a leg kick but Rochester moved away.
Hussain throws a hook to the side of Rochester's head but Rochester sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hussain wants to clinch up but Rochester keeps it at a distance.
Hussain keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rochester.
Rochester has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Defiant in the buildup to the fight.
Rochester connects with a nice looking jab.
Hussain's coach down at 3Band MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hussain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rochester ducks under a wild hook from Hussain.
Hussain wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hussain doesn't manage to clinch there - Rochester circles away.
Hussain throws a low kick but Rochester moves out of range easily.

Rochester feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hussain sprawling to the canvas! Hussain rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rochester finish him?!

Hussain is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hussain slips a jab from Rochester.
Hussain is still on wobbly legs! Can Rochester finish him?
Hussain throws a lazy right hand but Rochester sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hussain tries a low kick but Rochester avoids it.
Hussain pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hussain seems to have recovered his senses.
Hussain misses with a body kick.
Hussain throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rochester avoids the body shot from Hussain.
A big right from Hussain misses.
Rochester feinted with a counter takedown.
Hussain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hussain leaves his chin hanging out and Rochester seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hussain crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arlo Rochester!
