Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kovich decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mohammad slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kovich looking to sit in guard and control but Mohammad gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mohammad accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kovich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mohammad makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mohammad on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mohammad slips a nice elbow through Kovich's hands, connecting with Kovich's forehead.

Mohammad lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kovich quite badly. Kovich pulls Mohammad in close trying to recover. Mohammad postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kovich on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kovich doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
