Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Carter (ranked 4524 p4p, 4643 weight class) and Jack Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 559 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Paul! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Carter keeps Paul at a distance using the push kick. Paul is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Carter stuffs the takedown attempt from Paul. Paul gets slowly back to his feet. Carter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Horrible takedown attempt by Carter or perhaps it was just good defense by Paul, which made it look bad. Carter blocks a head kick by Paul.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Paul, pushing him back against the cage. Paul is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. Paul is trying to pull guard but Carter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Frank Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Paul. Paul looking to slow down the pace here. Paul is trying to maintain a safe position but Carter gets an underhook and turns Paul into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul has Carter pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Carter manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Carter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Paul has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Carter after a bit of a struggle. Carter fails to pull guard.
Paul tries to land knees in the clinch but Carter avoids the damage to the body. Paul has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Paul on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carter jumps into guard, dragging Paul to the mat.
Paul missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Carter pulls Paul in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul tries to stand but Carter is controlling from the bottom. Carter pushes a forearm under Paul's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Paul is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
