Favre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yakamoto with a lazy takedown attempt
and Favre counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yakamoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Favre lands with a nice combination. Yakamoto backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Takaskhi Yakamoto has been cut.
Yakamoto keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Favre throws a combination that misses
and Yakamoto counters with a stiff right hand.
Favre has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Favre lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yakamoto backs up against the cage.
Yakamoto has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takaskhi Yakamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Favre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Yakamoto throws a sloppy head kick and Favre moves out of range easily.
Favre Throws a clean left jab. Favre Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Yakamoto's chin! Yakamoto crumbles to the ground and Favre follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Favre!
