Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lesnar (ranked 802 p4p, 1057 weight class) and Gauthier Delsarte (ranked 28 p4p, 36 weight class). Delsarte has chosen Ah Non Cest Terrible as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Gauthier Delsarte! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delsarte fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lesnar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Delsarte scores with a decent looking hook. Delsarte lands a nice hook to Lesnar's body. Lesnar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Nice shot by Delsarte. Delsarte misses with the body kick so Lesnar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Delsarte manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A swing and a miss from Lesnar. Delsarte getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Lesnar tries to clinch up but Delsarte circles away and keeps his distance. Lesnar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delsarte's waist but Delsarte gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lesnar off to one side. Delsarte throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Delsarte is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. A decent looking body kick lands there for Delsarte. Delsarte explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Lesnar takes a shot right to the bread basket. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lesnar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Delsarte finds it's way round the side to connect with Lesnar's head. Lesnar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Delsarte is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lesnar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Delsarte throws a leg kick and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Delsarte kicks Lesnar off and gets back to his feet. Delsarte connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lesnar's hands. Delsarte chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A left lands for Delsarte. Delsarte lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lesnar's sensitive parts. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Both fighters circling a little - Delsarte finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Lesnar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Delsarte manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Delsarte has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lesnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Delsarte with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lesnar gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Delsarte pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lesnar is out of range and Delsarte settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Delsarte misses with a jab, cross combination.

Lesnar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Delsarte.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! An inside leg kick from Delsarte misses. Lesnar half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nice defenses there by Lesnar. Lesnar tries to counter with a takedown but Delsarte is quick to defend against it. Gauthier Delsarte seems to be getting the better of the standup. Delsarte lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Delsarte throws a lazy body kick and Lesnar counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Delsarte! Delsarte pushes Lesnar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lesnar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lesnar laying and praying for a moment but Delsarte takes advantage and regains half guard.
