The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemeth shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Annihilator napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Annihilator holds on to Nemeth's head and controls the position momentarily.
Nemeth tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Annihilator is looking for a sweep.
Annihilator keeps trying to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Annihilator can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Annihilator is looking to regain half guard here but Nemeth keeps moving and retains side control.

Annihilator is looking for a sweep. Nemeth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nemeth is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nemeth trying to mount his opponent but Annihilator defends it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Annihilator tries to roll over but Nemeth keeps him under control.

Nemeth in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Annihilator tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nemeth!
