The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaelsson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Chaelsson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thomas to score with a decent uppercut.

Thomas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Thomas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chaelsson needs to keep his hands up - Thomas had a free shot at his head there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chaelsson drops his guard momentarily, allowing Thomas to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Chaelsson! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Thomas takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jax Thomas! Jax Thomas retains his heavyweight title!
Our winner, Jax Thomas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
