Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Gelfen closes the distance and pushes Hozdic back into the cage. Hozdic is trying to drag Gelfen to the mat but Gelfen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gelfen decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gelfen is trying to control the position but Hozdic postures up.
