And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johanas Jankens!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparr swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jankens.
Sparr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jankens throws a body punch but Sparr moves out of range.
Sparr throws a leg kick
and Jankens counters with a nice uppercut.
Jankens throws the left hand but Sparr avoids the punch easily.
Sparr drives through with a takedown into Jankens's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jankens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sparr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sparr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jankens looking for a triangle here. Sparr is fighting it but it looks tight! Jankens pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sparr is tapping out - this one is all over!
