Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerry Short!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tunzo Fuhn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Watson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short shoots in and gets a takedown into Fuhn's guard.
Short throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fuhn wants to sweep but no luck.
Short is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fuhn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fuhn has escaped and now he's on top!
Fuhn trying to control but Short is working from the bottom.
Fuhn has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Short to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fuhn is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Short pulls down on the head and he's put Fuhn to sleep! This one is all over!
