Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Needle Dick (ranked 89 p4p, 217 weight class) and Jani Honkanen (ranked 13 p4p, 40 weight class). Dick comes to the cage accompanied by Watch where you're going, Needle Dick!. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jani Honkanen enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Needle Dick!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jani Honkanen!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honkanen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dick.
Honkanen shoots for a takedown but Dick saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dick lands a big right hand that sends Honkanen crashing to the mat! Dick stays standing though and waves Honkanen back to his feet!
It looks like Jani Honkanen has been cut.
Honkanen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Honkanen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice sprawl there from Dick as Honkanen shoots in.
Dick throws an overhand right that lands on Honkanen's shoulder, as Honkanen tries to avoid the shot.
Dick looks to land a left hand but Honkanen moved out of range nicely.
Honkanen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Needle Dick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jani Honkanen.
Honkanen misses with a combination
and Dick counters with a huge left! Honkanen is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dick isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Honkanen from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dick!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Needle Dick!
Needle Dick retains his heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Needle Dick made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
