Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AJ Llewellyn (ranked 2448 p4p, 24629 weight class) and Vitja Kostlov (ranked 352 p4p, 731 weight class). Llewellyn comes into the arena with Doomsday blaring out of the sound system. Vitja Kostlov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, AJ Llewellyn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitja Kostlov! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Llewellyn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kostlov has time to react. Vitja Kostlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kostlov throws a lazy head kick and Llewellyn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kostlov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Llewellyn! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Llewellyn tries to bench press Kostlov off him but Kostlov keeps the position. Llewellyn looks to move to half guard but instead Kostlov has passed into mount! Damn! Llewellyn can't escape the position.
Llewellyn slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Llewellyn looking for submissions off his back. Llewellyn wants to sweep but Kostlov has passed to side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's one minute gone in the round. Kostlov moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Llewellyn. Llewellyn seems a little lost for a moment, as Kostlov dominates the positioning. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kostlov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Llewellyn is trying desperately to improve position. Kostlov raining down shots from the mount! Kostlov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kostlov stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Llewellyn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kostlov.
It looks like AJ Llewellyn has been cut. Kostlov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kostlov showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kostlov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Llewellyn has managed to free his arm - good work. Llewellyn with the active half guard here but Kostlov passes nicely into side control. Llewellyn tries to buck Kostlov off but Kostlov is having none of it. Llewellyn stops Kostlov from passing to mount. Llewellyn is trying to improve his position. Vitja Kostlov dominated that round. The cut man is working on AJ Llewellyn's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Llewellyn tests Kostlov's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kostlov throws a leg kick that is checked and Llewellyn counters with a takedown into side control. Llewellyn goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kostlov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Llewellyn's guard! Nice work there by Kostlov! Llewellyn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kostlov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kostlov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Llewellyn is keeping the position for now. Kostlov wants to control from the top but Llewellyn keeps moving. Kostlov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kostlov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Llewellyn is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kostlov frees his head nicely. Oh but Llewellyn has switched to an armbar! Kostlov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
