Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, William OConnor! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OConnor has closed the distance and engaged Gorichov in a clinch.
OConnor is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. OConnor looking to throw knees to the head but Gorichov is blocking nicely.
OConnor creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Gorichov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. OConnor using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Ivan Gorichov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. OConnor jerks Gorichov's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gorichov drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! OConnor goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from OConnor because Gorichov was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
