Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robbie Hall!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hall closes the distance and clinches.

Islander manages to break the clinch.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Islander swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Islander is looking to counter punch.
Robbie Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Islander, pushing him back against the cage.
Hall is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Islander is keeping busy.

Islander breaks from the clinch.

Hall has Islander pressed against the cage, preventing Islander from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Hall trying to stall but Islander improves his position.
Hall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Islander breaks from the clinch.

Hall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall passes Islander's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Islander is refusing to be controlled, as Hall sits in half guard.
Hall wants to pass to mount but Islander is defending the position.

Islander keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Hall in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Islander tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hall!
