The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Matariki closes the distance and pushes Cartwright back into the cage.
Cartwright tries to score a body lock takedown but Matariki shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Matariki has Cartwright pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Matariki pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cartwright tumbling to the mat - Matariki dives into Cartwright's guard.

Cartwright has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Matariki should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cartwright has tightened it up now! Matariki should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
