Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 407 p4p, 607 weight class) and Roder Control (ranked 8 p4p, 15 weight class). Control has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdullah Zaire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roder Control!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire tries for a takedown but Control sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Control throws out a counter right but Zaire avoids it with no problem.
Zaire shoots in and gets a takedown into Control's guard.
Zaire drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Control dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zaire wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Control got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zaire has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Control has managed to get both his arms back between Zaire's legs - danger averted.
Control is sitting in close to Zaire's body. Zaire has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Control is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Control is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zaire.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Abdullah Zaire!
After winning the bout, Abdullah Zaire thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
