Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 409 p4p, 471 weight class) and Terry Tungsten (ranked 9 p4p, 11 weight class). Tungsten has chosen Cover of The Rolling Stone by Dr. Hook as his entrance music. Tungsten has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terry Tungsten!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ron Honeybunn and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tungsten throws a shot from downtown. Creed moves away and avoids it.
Tungsten looks winded!
Creed connects with the punch.
Creed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Creed throws a right hand that Tungsten ducks under and follows up with a left that Tungsten also avoids with ease.
Creed sets himself, and Tungsten steps forward looking for the clinch! Creed avoids it this time.
Creed throws a right and a left that both miss.
A little jabbing left from Tungsten on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tungsten's coach down at Rough House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tungsten's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tungsten misses with an uppercut.
Tungsten takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tungsten steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Creed.

Creed lands a big right hand that sends Tungsten crashing to the mat! Creed stays standing though and waves Tungsten back to his feet!

Tungsten is rocked!

It looks like Terry Tungsten has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tungsten gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Creed gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tungsten is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Apollo Creed!
After winning the bout, Apollo Creed thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Terry Tungsten was interviewed post fight and said 'That man hits harder than me ex on a bender…and if she taught me anything, it’s that I’ll bounce back from this loss and sleep with my opponents sister. '.
