Bailly comes to the cage accompanied by MMA Entrance Music / Dustin Poirier. Cody Evans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailly misses with a body kick.
Bailly throws a head kick but Evans moves out of range.
Bailly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A little jabbing left from Evans on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bailly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Evans moves away.
Bailly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Evans.

Bailly throws a right hand that Evans ducks under and follows up with a left that Evans also avoids with ease.
Bailly misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evans scores with a nice right hand.
Evans avoids a kick to the body.
Bailly misses with a body kick.
A punch lands to the side of Bailly 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Thierry Bailly has been cut.
Bailly throws a push kick but Evans slaps the foot to one side.

Evans staying out of range there.
Bailly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Evans clobbers Bailly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Evans dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bailly swings for the body but Evans moves out of range.
Evans misses with a few strikes there.
Bailly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bailly showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Evans.
Bailly gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Evans.
We've been hearing reports that Bailly has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Evans lands a hook that stumbles Bailly back into the cage. Evans follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Bailly to the canvas! Evans pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Bailly has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
