Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hellson Balls (ranked 4799 p4p, 4726 weight class) and Purple Aki (ranked 534 p4p, 529 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Balls lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aki circles away quickly and effectively.
It seemed like Aki was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Balls scores with a hook.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Aki.

Balls is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aki pulls his head out easily.

Aki stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Balls to get to his feet.

Aki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Balls throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Aki escapes and throws Balls's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Aki decides to stand back up. Aki steps back and let's Balls get back to his feet.

Aki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Balls wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Aki manages to pass to side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hellson Balls.
I think Aki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
