The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mohammad manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ponz on his heels. He'll look to pass Ponz's guard now, I'm sure.
Ponz manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Aahil Mohammad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ponz wants to get back to his feet but Mohammad is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ponz's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ponz is bucking up trying to escape but Mohammad cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

A big strike lands for Mohammad! That's really hurt Ponz and he's turned his back - Mohammad keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mohammad jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
