Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Ryland (ranked 4624 p4p, 4014 weight class) and Las Vegas Fighter (ranked 157 p4p, 0 weight class). Las Vegas Fighter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Ryland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Fighter! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryland misses with a body punch
and Fighter counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ryland throws a poor cross that misses
and Fighter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ryland lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fighter circles away quickly and effectively. Ryland falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fighter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. John Ryland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryland tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fighter was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryland. Ryland tests Fighter's chin there with a solid looking shot. A big right from Fighter misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fighter, as that shot connected.
It looks like John Ryland has been cut. Ryland moves out of range of the strikes. Fighter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ryland connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fighter scrambles back to his feet. Fighter throws a jab when Ryland was well out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Fighter just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ryland. Fighter misses with a straight right. Fighter lands with an overhand left. Ryland throws a right hand that Fighter ducks under and follows up with a left that Fighter also avoids with ease. Ryland misses with a combination
and Fighter counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fighter takes one on the button. Ryland misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fighter.
Fighter is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ryland with a body shot. Fighter is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Oooooh!!! Fighter has knocked Ryland down with a huge combo! Fighter steps away and waves a wobbly Ryland back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Fighter has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fighter misses with an uppercut. Ryland saw that one coming. Ryland takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryland throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Fighter counter with a right hand. Ryland takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fighter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ryland swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fighter. Fighter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ryland throws out the jab. Ryland keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Las Vegas Fighter has been cut. Ryland throws a poor cross that misses
and Fighter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fighter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ryland doesn't seem bothered though. Ryland swings widly with a right hand
and Fighter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fighter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ryland manages to avoid it. Fighter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ryland sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter drops his hands for a split second and Ryland immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Fighter face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ryland follows up with a right hand that knocks Fighter into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Ryland!
