PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Krusse (ranked 3950 p4p, 4458 weight class) and Vlad Stalin (ranked 0 p4p, 155 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vlad Stalin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Krusse avoids a punch combination nicely.
Krusse is looking for a counter combo.
Stalin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Stalin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Krusse sprawls well initially but Stalin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stalin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Krusse!

Stalin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Krusse is surviving well by controlling Stalin 's body position as best he can.

Stalin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Krusse manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stalin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Krusse is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Krusse is trying to control Stalin 's posture but Stalin avoids it.

Stalin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Krusse is not content to let Stalin control the position.
Krusse is looking to regain half guard here but Stalin keeps moving and retains side control.

Stalin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krusse keeps working.
Krusse tries to buck Stalin off but Stalin is having none of it.

Despite being in a bad position, Krusse is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.

Krusse seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Stalin is breathing heavily.
Stalin throws a sloppy head kick
and Krusse makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Krusse counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stalin ! Krusse lets Stalin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Krusse counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Stalin out cold! What a finish! Krusse is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
