Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cajun Puto (ranked 1080 p4p, 2076 weight class) and Javier Pimba (ranked 155 p4p, 280 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cajun Puto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javier Pimba!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pimba misses with a looping right.
Pimba swings for the body but Puto moves out of range.
Pimba misses with a wild body shot.
Pimba throws a right and a left that Puto avoids nicely.
Pimba throws a left and a right that both miss

and Puto counters with a single leg into guard. Pimba didn't expect that.
Puto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Puto wants to control from the top but Pimba keeps moving.
Puto tries to free his leg and advance position but Pimba is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puto trying to control the position from guard on top but Pimba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Puto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pimba swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Puto advances to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Puto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pimba sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Puto is trying to control. Pimba wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Puto is trying to work for a kimura but Pimba is defending well.
Pimba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Puto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Puto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pimba knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Puto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puto passes to full mount!
Puto trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Pimba takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pimba prevents Puto from taking his back.
Pimba felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Pimba has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Puto trying to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Puto is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Pimba is tapping out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cajun Puto!
Cajun Puto retains his heavyweight title!
Cajun Puto made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Thanks to the fans for turning up tonight. Get that piece of sh*t out of my cage. If any other fool wants to step into the swampman's den, then go ahead. There is no one on this planet that can beat me. No one!'.
