Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Portgas D Ace!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Joshy circles away.
Joshy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Joshy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ace.
Bam Bam Joshy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Portgas D Ace.
Joshy digs a good hook to Ace's body.
Ace shoots and misses
and Joshy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ace has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ace there as he acknowledges the shot.
Joshy misses with a double jab.
Joshy really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Joshy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Portgas D Ace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Joshy enables Ace to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Joshy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ace seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Joshy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ace rolls with it to try and escape but Joshy cranks on the arm and Ace is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
