Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Africa Boombada (ranked 977 p4p, 1784 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 140 p4p, 234 weight class). Boombada kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Here comes the Boom by- P.O.D. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Africa Boombada!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boombada throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.
Jackson lands with a slapping head kick.
Boombada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boombada looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jackson slips under a jab.
Jackson scores with a jab to the body.
Boombada keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Boombada is avoiding it.
Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boombada is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jackson throws a lazy head kick
and Boombada counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boombada looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Boombada getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Boombada with a body punch. A glancing blow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boombada connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
A swing and a miss from Boombada.
Boombada stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.
A right-left combo lands from Jackson.
Boombada slips a jab from Jackson.
Boombada scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jackson in his tracks.
Boombada uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jackson has time to react.
Boombada throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boombada jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boombada drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Boombada waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jackson is rocked!
Boombada lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Boombada finish him?
Jackson looks winded!
Boombada scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though.
Jackson circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Boombada. Jackson falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Boombada!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Africa Boombada!
Africa Boombada retains his heavyweight title!
Post fight, Africa Boombada stared into the camera and said 'NO ONE is touching me in this division....WHO WANTS THESE HANDS?'.
