This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Tommy Toehold! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Cj Lee!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Toehold misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Toehold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Toehold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Toehold shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Toehold. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Toehold has Lee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Toehold pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lee tumbling to the mat - Toehold dives into Lee's guard.

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
