The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngannou swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bose ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Ngannou bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bose's head backwards.

Bose lands a nice shot that snaps Ngannou's head back.
Ngannou misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bose moves into range and clinches up with Ngannou.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ngannou's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Bose comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Francis Ngannou's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bose throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bose gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bose is leaning against Ngannou and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bose creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bose lands with a left to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bose.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Francis Ngannou's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Satyendra Bose!
A victorious Satyendra Bose thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
The defeated Francis Ngannou had this to say: 'The one who intimidates me is myself. I'm scared to fail. That is the thing that makes me the most afraid, to fail. Just to think that I can do a mistake and lose the fight scares me, so that is why I work out a lot: to bring more chance to my size and less chance to my opponent'.
