Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Usko White! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Usko White has been cut. Paul throws a series of punches but White moves out of range. White dodges the punch combination from Paul.
White is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Paul swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and White holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. White manages to break the clinch.
Paul throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. White lands with an uppercut that bounces Paul off the cage and back into range. Paul misses with a double jab.
White scores with a hook.
It looks like Jake Paul has been cut. Paul swinging wildly here.
White avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jake Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White lands a big uppercut and Paul crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Paul looks OK. White waves Paul back to his feet! Paul throws a hook but White avoids it easily. Paul misses with a right hand and White counters into the clinch. Nicely done. White lands a body punch in the clinch. Paul is breathing heavily. White keeps control of Paul as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A short uppercut from White.
Paul is rocked! White lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Oh Paul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! White dips a shoulder and cracks Paul with a mighty uppercut! Paul falls back against the cage and White unloads with a barrage of strikes! Paul is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - White screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Usko White!
