Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Plant (ranked 23154 p4p, 22684 weight class) and Thanos Eternal (ranked 135 p4p, 253 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thanos Eternal!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eternal rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Plant counters with a thumping low kick.
Plant forces Eternal back against the cage and clinches.
Plant doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Eternal trying to control the position but instead, Plant has worked for underhooks and has pushed Eternal into the cage.
Eternal trying to stall but Plant improves his position.

Eternal tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Plant smiles and moves away.

Plant creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Eternal's defenses.

Plant crunches a lovely knee into Eternal's ribcage.
Eternal is trying to pull guard but Plant turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Plant lands an elbow that stopped Eternal in his tracks for a moment.
We've been hearing reports that Plant has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Eternal jumps guard but Plant turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eternal tries to pull guard but Plant holds him up against the cage and eventually Eternal drops back down to his feet.

Plant unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Plant has Eternal pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Plant pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Eternal tumbling to the mat - Plant dives into Eternal's guard.
Plant advances position into side control!
Plant wants to control but Eternal is keeping him busy.
Plant is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Eternal is trying to escape and Plant transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Eternal is forced to tap! Nice work there by Plant! Very nice indeed!
