Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moncontour Chevrolet (ranked 5140 p4p, 5419 weight class) and Ward Shaver (ranked 608 p4p, 633 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moncontour Chevrolet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ward Shaver!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaver fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chevrolet to the ground. Shaver is now in Chevrolet's guard.
Shaver trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Chevrolet can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shaver controls the pace.
Shaver wants to pass the guard but Chevrolet is keeping the position.
Shaver throws an elbow that misses. Chevrolet uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Shaver's guard. Nice move by Chevrolet!
Shaver wants to sweep here but Chevrolet controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shaver manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chevrolet manages to get himself to full guard.
Shaver trying to control the position from guard on top but Chevrolet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Shaver with a flurry of punches that miss.
Shaver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Shaver throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chevrolet works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chevrolet avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Shaver wants to control from the top but Chevrolet keeps moving.
Chevrolet wants to sweep here but Shaver controlling him for the moment.
Chevrolet is pulling down on Shaver's head. It's preventing any offense from Shaver, at least for the moment.
Shaver throwing strikes from guard but Chevrolet blocks nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shaver is looking to work some ground and pound but Chevrolet has wrist control.
Chevrolet preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Shaver wants to control from the top but Chevrolet keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shaver has a takedown stuffed.
Shaver shoots in and gets a takedown into Chevrolet's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shaver accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chevrolet looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shaver is one step ahead there.
Shaver trying to control the position from guard on top but Chevrolet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shaver might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chevrolet haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Chevrolet controls Shaver momentarily but Shaver frees himself.
Shaver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chevrolet looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shaver is one step ahead there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Shaver misses with a takedown attempt
and Chevrolet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ward Shaver has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shaver.
Moncontour Chevrolet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ward Shaver.
Chevrolet throws a hook to the side of Shaver's head but Shaver sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shaver swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Shaver shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
and Chevrolet counters with a head kick that drops Shaver to the mat! Shaver scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Shaver is rocked!
Chevrolet is looking to slow Shaver down with leg kicks.
Shaver is still on wobbly legs! Can Chevrolet finish him?
BAM! Chevrolet delivers a spinning backfist that drops Shaver like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
